Confidential HR Consultation for Employees

On Your Side

The HR resource you do not have. Senior HR judgment on your side of the table, confidential consultation when you need clarity, perspective, or just an honest read on a difficult workplace situation.

What This Is

What Internal HR Would Tell You
If Internal HR Worked for You

Internal HR teams play an important role within organizations. But they work for the company. When you are navigating a difficult workplace situation and you want senior HR judgment on your side of the table, most employees do not have anywhere to turn.

Confidential employee consultation is the catchall service for situations that do not fit neatly into a severance review, an investigation, or a performance plan response. You bring the situation; we bring 25 years of HR judgment, plain language, and an honest read on what is happening and what you can do about it.

Common Questions

Consultation Questions

Anything you would talk to a senior HR person about if you trusted that person to be on your side. Common topics: a manager relationship that is breaking down, a concern you are unsure whether to raise, ambiguous policy questions, the read on a recent decision that does not feel right, navigating a return from leave, planning a resignation, or simply wanting to understand a situation before deciding what to do.

Yes. Held in professional confidentiality. We do not contact your employer, share your name, or take any action without your direction. One important note: we are HR professionals, not attorneys, so this is professional confidentiality, not attorney-client privilege. If your situation may need privileged conversation, we will tell you and help you decide whether to engage counsel.

When the situation has clear markers of an unlawful action, discrimination, retaliation, harassment that has continued after reporting, or a separation that appears unlawful, legal counsel adds value beyond HR judgment. We will tell you that on the first call. Many employees use both: HR perspective for the workplace navigation, legal counsel for the legal dimension.

The first consultation is free and runs about 30 minutes. It is a chance to talk through what is going on, get an honest read on your situation, and decide together whether further support makes sense. There is no commitment to continue.
